WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature that allows users to use some shortcuts when selecting phone numbers. Users can use some shortcuts when selecting the phone number in the chat bubbles. Before releasing this feature when the users tap on the phone number in the chat bubble then it would take the user straight to their default phone dialer app.
Now it is adding the new option for the Phone numbers. When the user tap on the phone number in the chat bubble then a new menu will appear with some shortcuts as you can see in the given image. It will check whether the phone number has a WhatsApp account or not. If that phone number is available on WhatsApp then you can quickly start a new chat with that phone number. It has an option to call on that number by using the user’s default phone dialer app.

It has also an option to add that phone number to your contact address book. The Dial and Add to contacts two options will always appear when the users tap on the phone number. But the Chat with option won’t be displayed if that phone number doesn’t have a WhatsApp account. The new option for Phone numbers is rolling out for the Android beta and is available on the Android beta version 2.22.8.11.
